A potential client of NTCS in Uganda aimed to establish a comprehensive and sustainable EV charging ecosystem in Uganda, with a primary focus on charging infrastructure for electric buses. The objective is to upgrade the existing malfunctioning EV bus pilot shuttle service between Kampala and Entebbe into a well-functioning and scalable charging network.
Additionally, the potential client explores opportunities for expanding EV charging ecosystems across Uganda and other East African countries.
With the DHI subsidy, a (bankable) business plan for the potential client of NTCS could be drafted including market analysis, technical feasibility, financial projections, risk analysis, and an implementation plan for achieving a greener and more efficient transportation future in Uganda.
