It is the ambition of the Netherlands Embassy in New Delhi (EKN) to bring Dutch and Indian stakeholders together for an effective approach toward the prevention of emerging zoonotic diseases.
The EKN commissioned Larive – Seamless Global (SS4) to perform a study on the institutional landscape in India, focused on the prevention of and preparedness for zoonotic diseases. Larive – Seamless Global conducted an analysis of the Indian landscape in the field of zoonoses, with a particular focus on governance. The report provides directions for interventions for public and private sector cooperation between the Netherlands and India to improve preparedness.
“Having commissioned Larive to help us understand the complex landscape that sees on prevention of zoonotic diseases in India, we enjoyed working with Larive a lot. Discussing in iterations Larive helped us deepening our understanding and sharpening our focus in this broad domain. During this trajectory we felt Larive was really standing next to us, not being content with the simple answers or superficial knowledge, able and supportive to think beyond the obvious and well-known. In constantly cascading new questions and insights, Larive successfully managed to put together the essential analysis and critical building blocks at the table, enabling us to make substantial progress.” – Marcel Floor, Counsellor for Health, Welfare and Sport, Netherlands Embassy in New Delhi
