TBSC Consulting and Larive International are working on assessing viability of fresh mushroom production for “Dila Products”, leading poultry producer in Georgia. The feasibility study is financed by the Dutch government program 2xplore.

While demand for fresh mushrooms in Georgia has been increasing, local supply is a problem and the country heavily depends on imports. The main reason is the absence of professional expertise and know-how in mushroom production. As a result, back-yard farmers lack productivity and efficiency required for securing constant supply of high quality mushrooms.

TBSC Consulting and Larive International, together with two Dutch expert companies in mushroom production are consulting Dila on viability of investing in fresh mushroom production in Georgia. The work includes market analysis and most importantly technical concept of the optimal production facility.

The end product will be a full-fledged Business Plan that will enable Dila to pioneer in fresh champignon production in Georgia, close the local shortage in supply and become a market leader.
