Per June 1, 2012, the long awaited importcode was enforced in Ukraine. The new importcode ensures more efficient import of goods into the countrie.

The Act includes measures to reduce VAT on imported goods and to simplify the import proces. The simplifications of the process will be achieved by the use of digital declaration forms, making complex paperwork redundant.
