From 17 – 23 September 2017 a delegation of 12 representatives from the Myanmar poultry sector and the Myanmar Government will visit the Netherlands. During this visit they will have meetings with and field visits to Dutch poultry companies to learn about practices of the Dutch poultry sector and discussions with Dutch Government officials about policy improvements and need for future cooperation.
The visit is part of the ‘Netherlands-Myanmar Poultry Cooperation’, a public-private partnership between a consortium of international leading private companies from the Netherlands, representing the whole poultry value chain and two internationally renowned knowledge and training institutes, who are committed to strengthen the poultry sector in Myanmar. Partners are Van Aarsen, Nutreco, De Heus, Pas Reform, Belgabroed, Marel Stork, AERES vocational training institute, MSD Merck Intervet and GD Animal Health. The project is supported by the Myanmar Livestock Federation and the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Myanmar. Larive International is the coordinator of the program
