Danone is one of the world’s leading health food companies with activities in dairy, water, early life nutrition and medical nutrition. Larive was Danone’s adviser in establishing a Joint Venture agreement with the Thailand-based manufacturer and distributor of innovative beverage products and functional drinks Sappe, to develop, manufacture, market and distribute healthy hydration beverages in Thailand. Danone holds a 75% stake in the Joint Venture.

 Thailand has the highest per capita consumption of non-alcoholic beverages in Asia and Thai consumers are eager to explore innovative food and beverage products and brands. Danone and Sappe agreed to jointly launch “B’lue” in the Thai market, which is a fruity, vitamin-enhanced beverage that is low in sugar. B’lue will be available in three flavours: peach, calamansi and pear.
