The Dutch Entrepreneurial Development Organisation (FMO) engaged Larive to conduct a comprehensive assessment and prioritization of eight key agri-food sectors in Indonesia, including agro-input, animal feed, aquaculture, cacao, coffee, palm oil, rice, and spices. Larive developed a decision-making model based on 15 mutually agreed-upon parameters enabling successful prioritization of the sectors. Data was gathered through extensive primary and secondary research in corporation with Larive’s local partner Clarity in Indonesia. As a result, Larive and FMO identified three high-priority sectors that were integrated into FMO’s strategy for Indonesia.
