Larive International and LightCastle organised a poultry mission to the Netherlands for a delegation of 12 key Bangladeshi poultry sector stakeholders as part of the PoultryTechBangladesh project. The mission program of 6 days, from May 29 until June 4, included company meetings with and factory and reference projects’ visits of the Dutch PoultryTechBangladesh partners, participation at events hosted by the Embassy of Bangladesh in The Hague and the Dutch Ministry of Agriculture, Nature & food quality, a tour at a cooling and freezing warehouse, a biosecurity workshop and a visit to the VIV Utrecht Expo. The trade mission allowed the delegation to gain valuable insights into the Dutch poultry sector, identify ideas for sector development, create network linkages and build relationships crucial for investment in Bangladesh. In addition, the delegation has been able to gain insights into Dutch technologies, innovation, expertise and knowledge that could support sector development, fostering trade and investment between Bangladesh and the Netherlands.
