Background

Katrien is an international business development professional with over a decade of experience living and working in China, Sri Lanka, and Turkey, accumulating extensive expertise in emerging markets.

Following her career start at ING Investment Banking, she served as Associate Director at KPMG’s High Growth Markets Practice, advising European companies on market entry and growth strategies.

Her entrepreneurial journey furthermore includes founding two social enterprises in developing countries. As Strategic Business Consultant at UNDP Istanbul, she successfully built partnerships between policy makers and the private sector, while sharing her expertise as a Lecturer in Sustainability at Bogazici University.

Her combination of emerging market expertise, sustainability focus, and strategic consulting experience makes her a valuable addition to the Larive International team.
